2. Name and Registered Office of the Trust:
That the name of the Trust shall be:
“ASHI LIFE FOUNDATION”
The Registered Office of the Trust shall for the time being be situated at:
Sadar Hospital Road, Daltonganj, P.S – Daltonganj, District – Palamau, Jharkhand, 822101, India.
However, the Trustees shall have the power to shift the registered office to
any other place in India as they may decide from time to time.
The Trust shall be empowered to function and operate throughout the territory of India.
3. That the objects which this is established are:
(a) To establish, run, support, and grant aid or other financial assistance to Health Care, Health awareness programme, Eye Camp, Knee transplant Camp, Hysterectomy camp Blood donation camp etc. & having any other health objects Medical Camp for the benefits of the public in general.
(b) To establish and develop institution for the physically handicapped and disabled or mentally disordered person and to provide them education, shelter, food clothing or other help.
(c) To spread awareness about STD and HIV/AIDS and work for the welfare of people living with HIV/AIDS.
(d) To carry out health awareness programme for the different type of disease, first Aid Training programme, Para-Medical Training, ANM training center, Mother-Child health development programme etc.
(e) To establish, develop, maintain and grant aid in cash or in kind to schools, Inter/Degree Colleges, Vocational Course, child welfare, and/or such other similar charitable institution in India for the benefit and use of general public.
(f) To establish, run, support, and grant aid or other financial assistance to teacher training School / B. Ed College, Educational Institution etc. Child welfare research and other institution of the kind like nature in India, for use of the students and the staff and also for the development and advancement of education of knowledge among the public in general.
(g) To establish, maintain and run studentship, scholarship and render other kind of aid to students including supply of books stipends, medals and other incentives to study, without distinction as to caste, colour, race creed or sex.
(h) To promote establish, support, maintain or grant add to institution for the promotion of science, literature, music, drama and fine arts, and for the agriculture, urban/Rural development and for the preservation of historical monuments and for the research and other institution in India, having similar objects for the benefits of the public in general.
(i) To establish, maintain or grants aid to homes for aged, orphanages or other establishments for the relief and help to poor, needy and destitute people, orphans, windows and old aged person.
(j) To grant relief and assistance to the needy victim during natural calamities such as famine, earth quake, flood, fire, pestilence, etc, and to give donations and other assistance to institutions, establishments or persons engaged in such relief work.
(k)To organize Yoga Classes and Meditation Centers for the Students & the public in general. And to organize religious functions, Tournament etc. for the advancement of the Society.
(l) The trust society will organize awareness about the preservation of the environment will organize some Environment Awareness programmes in many places which includes plantation in many areas time to time.
(m) To form help group, Co-operatives and run in income generating programmes by linking them with bank through SGSY, NABARD, etc.
(n) To promote, mobilize organize help assistant and empower, sportsman, articians, musicians, farmers, weavers, craftsmen, wage earners, tribal, weaker section and other un organized people to enable them to act for their own personality as well as social, cultural and as a group or as a self help group and micro finance group.
(o) To establish, maintain or grants aid for establishment and/or maintenance of park, Gardens, Gymnasiums, Sport Clubs, Dharamshala, Temple, Church, Masjid, Rest Houses, Museum, libraries for use by public in general.
(p) To implement various schemes of state as well as central Govt. under “Women and child Welfare scheme” ST/ SC welfare scheme, welfare scheme for minorities and all other schemes promoted for the Welfare of poor and needy to provide Legal Aid. To organize seminars, workshop, training camps ete in order to provide facility to common man and help people in dealing with eco friendly activities.
(q) To grant aid or render assistance to other Public Charitable trust or institutions.
4. Application of Trust Fund:
That the trust fund shall not be applied for any purpose other than specified in Para 3 herein above, as at presents Rs. One Lac is in Trust fund.
5. Augmentation of Trust Fund:
That the trust fund may be augmented by the income from the initial fund and also by donations and other contributions from time to time.
6. Maintenance of Accounts:
That the trustee shall always maintain proper accounts of the Trust, which shall be kept at the office of the trust.
7. Powers of the Trustees: That for the furtherance of the objects of the trust, trustees shall have the following powers.
(a) To accept any donation, contribution, grant, or subscription in cash or kind from any person(s), body of persons or trust/
society, corporate Sector, Government with or without
conditions.
(b) To apply the whole or any part of the income of the trust, or the trust fund or accumulation thereto, to any one or more of the
objects of the trust, as the trustee may, in their discretion, deem fit from time to time.
(c) To convert and deal with the trust property and/or any investment for the time being.
(d) To open account in the name of the trust, trustee and/or Institution run/ conducted by the trust with a bank of banks, to operate such account and give instruction to the bank and to
provide for opening and operation of such account by one or more of the trustee or by an agent appointed by the Trustee.
(e) To set apart and/or allocate the whole or a part of the income or the corpus of the Trust fund or part thereof for any of the objects of the trust.
8. Meetings of the Trustees: The Trustee may from time to time frame rules for the conduct and regulations of the meeting of trustees. In the absence of
such regulation.
(a) Two Trustees shall form a quorum for a meeting of the trustees.
(b) All matters will be decided mutually by the trustees.
(c) Resolution passed without any meeting of the trustees but by circulation thereof by two thirds of the trustee shall be as valid
and effectual as a resolution duly passed at a meeting of trustees.
9. Accounting and Audit:
The accountancy year of the Trust shall be the financial year ending on 31st March every year and it shall be audited by C.A.
or by any other auditing authority.
10. Superintendence and Bank Operation:
The Founder shall have hold superintendence over the affairs of the trust. Either the President or Secretary shall have power to
operate the Bank Account of the Trust.
11. Authority to Dispose Property:
That the President and Secretary shall jointly have the right to sell/dispose of, to let out to mortgage, to lease, to Agreement
and to execute any other deed regarding any property of the trust.
12. Founder’s Succession:
The Founder shall hold office for life and shall name the successor during his lifetime to the post of founder. In absence
of nomination, the legal heir shall be entitled for the post of Founder.
13. Application of Trust Property:
It is expressly declare that no part of the trust property or its income or accretion thereof shall be applied for any purpose
outside India or for any purpose which is not a charitable purpose in law and all provision hereof shall be construed
accordingly.
14. Liability of Trustees:
That all liabilities occur during the course of trust business or related to the property of the trust, shall be bearded jointly by
all the trustee members ofthe trust including president secretary and Treasurer.
15. That the president and the treasurer shall comply with all the necessary formalities and conditions for the trust registration U/s-12 A and U/S 80 (G) ofthe Income Tax Act.
16. That all dispute related to this trust or arising out from its due course shall be the subject matter of competent jurisdiction of Civil Court Palamau.
